October and November are two of my favorite months to fish Charleston! The Redfish and Trout bite are hot. The water is gin clear and the sight casting to cruising schools of Redfish is dynamic. Spin or Fly, being in about a foot of water looking at the fish you want to catch is an absolute rush! These schools can be very large with over 100 fish! Stealth and precision casting are a must for one of these flats trophies. The Trout bite is on fire, whether you are using live bait or artificial baits. We went through 24 dozen shrimp in one day of fishing during the Cystic Fibrosis Celebrity tournament. We also won the youth angler division for the 5th year in a row. The weather is awesome and cool and their is nothing more enjoyable than poling the flats for both Trout and Redfish when their abundance is right there a cast away. Call me if you want to experience the awesomeness of October and November fishing, cheers! Captain Rawling Pratt-Thomas
